📏 Sizes & Fit

The question we're asked most — and the most important one to get right.

Which size should I order?

Check the size charts. Every brand fits differently — each product page states the sizing advice for that specific item.

Unsure? Email us before you order. Tell us your usual dress size and cup size and we'll advise you personally. That saves you a return.

Do the brands run true to size, small or large?

PQ Swim: true to size
Garotas & Milonga: true to size, string styles sometimes slightly smaller
Leonisa: true to size, with a shaping effect
Saman Tropical Wear: runs small — order one size up
Towers Swimwear: true to size

Can I order top and bottom in different sizes?

Yes. Almost everything is sold separately — see Mix & Match. Useful if you're an M on top and an L on the bottom.

What's the difference between Full, Cheeky and Brazilian/String?

Full — maximum coverage, comfortable all day
Cheeky — moderate coverage
Brazilian/String — minimal coverage

Do the tops have padding?

Most have removable pads. Always stated in the product description.

Which bikini suits my figure?

Hourglass → triangle or bandeau
Tummy or wanting more coverage → tummy control swimsuits or high waist bottoms
Pear shape → halter tops with Brazilian bottoms
Larger cup size → halter tops give the most support

📦 Shipping & Delivery

What does shipping cost?

Free over €100 within the EU. Below that, shipping costs are shown at checkout — before your order is final.

Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom fall outside the EU zone. Separate rates apply there, also visible at checkout.

How quickly will my order arrive?

We dispatch within 1–2 business days. After that, 2–5 business days within the EU, 3–7 outside. You'll receive a track & trace code once it's on its way.

What if my parcel arrives damaged?

Send photos to info@magichandsboutique.com. We'll send a free replacement or refund you.

What is your returns policy?

14 days from receipt. Items unworn and unwashed, with tags and hygiene strip. Please wear your own underwear when trying on.

How does it work?

Register your return by email with your order number
You'll receive instructions and the return address
Send the parcel back
Refund within 5 business days of receipt

Who pays return shipping?

That's at your own expense. Which is why we'd rather advise you on size beforehand — email us, it costs you nothing.

Yes, email us as soon as you can. As long as your parcel hasn't shipped, we'll adjust it.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes, automatically by email.

No, we're an online boutique. All orders are shipped.

How long does one of these bikinis last?

With proper care, several seasons. Handmade swimwear uses heavier, lined fabric that stretches and fades far more slowly than mass production — that's where the price difference sits.

🧼 Care

How do I wash my swimwear?

Rinse with cold fresh water immediately after use — this is the most important step
Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent
Don't wring; gently press the water out
Dry flat in the shade
Never machine wash or tumble dry

What about crochet or beaded pieces?

Always hand wash, dry flat on a towel, store folded flat and never hanging — this protects the handwork.
